Background:
Sir John Talbot's Technology College is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 18. The school aims to provide a broad and balanced curriculum. It has an additional ICT suite, clusters of computers across different subjects, interactive whiteboard and digital projectors and a set of laptops with data processors for use in science. All students are encouraged to play a full part in the life of the school with its many sporting, cultural and charitable activities. The community music school offers tuition in piano, keyboard, guitar, woodwind, brass and string instruments. The school aims to provide a relevant, broad and balanced range of learning activities, which will enable its students to acquire the knowledge and skills for their future education, employment and adult life.
