Background:
The Corbet School founded in 1957 in a rural village setting that benefits from plenty of fields. This is the small school serving the village of Baschurch and a wide surrounding area, with approximately two thirds of pupils travelling in by bus. The pupils come principally from 10 primary schools within this area with which the Corbet School enjoys a close partnership. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These include music, sports, drama and other outdoor activities. The school aims to provide a quiet, orderly working environment, which helps to maximise each child's potential.
